Fund Raising

The Wild Elk Federation's success stems largely from its dedicated and enthusiastic membership, particularly its local volunteer committee members who organize annual fundraising banquets, raffles and events in their communities. From small towns to major metropolitan areas, Wild Elk Federation chapters contribute substantially to the organization's mission.

Dollars from banquets, raffles and casinos fund conservation projects that have been carefully reviewed and approved. In each province Provincial Advisory Committees (PAC) consisting of key wildlife and habitat professionals scrutinize various funding proposals before recommending priorities and funding levels. PAC recommendations, upon approval of the Wild Elk Federation, become conservation projects that contribute towards the mission in their respective provinces.
