Our Mission
Our mission statement is
simple and straight forward:
To ensure the future of elk and other wildlife.

In support of this mission,
the Wild Elk Federation is committed to:
- conserving, restoring,
and enhancing wildlife habitat;
- promoting the sound
management of wild, free-ranging elk;
- fostering cooperation
among national, provincial, and private organizations and individuals
in wildlife management and habitat conservation; and
- educating members and
the public about habitat conservation and wildlife management.
The Wild Elk Federation
is not a political advocacy organization and does not lobby or litigate.
This apolitical stance allows the organization to steer clear of potential
divisive debates and concentrate on its core functions - wildlife
enhancement, the preservation of critical habitat and conservation
education.
